A great little representation of different cultures in Panama. The shops are not always fully occupied, but this is another very worthwhile visit and easy to get to and find.
This site is a collection of housing and artifact replicas of the various cultures (old and modern) of Panama. While simple, it gives you a good idea that this relatively small country is formed by various ethnicities and and traditions that survive to this date. The entry fee for foreigners is $3 USD and you get a free guide (optional).... 更多
Never expected Mi Pueblito to be so educational. Our guide Eulogio Batista was great, he had so much information about the history of Panama and culture that made our visit very interesting. We did the entire tour in 1hour but it was worth it. Don't pay more than 10 for a tour. We paid $3 per person at the entrance... 更多
Mi Pueblito is a very well conceived atraction. We visited it on sunday and due to its location we have to take Uber to go there. We find a native guide who were very knowlable about the place. There you can learn about diferent cultures, races that polulated Panama in time. Unfortunately like in other attractions we have visited in... 更多
Mi Pueblito is an open air museum - skansen about living arrangements of the first people living in Panama. It is very educational and true to its origin. A great way to spend an early afternoon as it is hidden in the jungle yet within the city. We had an excellent time walking around for 2 hours with our 5... 更多
Coming down from Cerro Ancon, we stopped in at Mi Pueblito. For $3 a person we figured that we couldn't go wrong. It's a recreation of three parts of Panama. Sadly, there's barely anything worth seeing in any of the parts. You've got some houses put up with stuff to make it look like an old house, or old office,... 更多
Inexpensive & quick overview of old Panama. I tried hiking up the hill but headed back down due to rain. I went back up the hill the next day (via car) & the view was beautiful!
Yes, it's a replica of 3 historical parts of Panama with 3 different distinct styles. The replicas are really good and you can make some great pictures. The confusing part if that the museum consists of 3 parts and it's easy to visit only 1 part and miss the other 2. The educational value is a bit low, but you... 更多
Nicely done - gives an idea of San Blas, Rural Panama, Bocas area housing. Several tourist shops. Only visit if you have extra time - not really worth it if you will be traveling through Panama. We did see a rare poisonous dart frog here ... pretty cool.
