This monument is set to the famous character from the which rarely would be recognised by foreigners even in 2009 this book was translated to English and received high rank reviews. A nice statue which we only stooped by a few minutes on our way to a restaurant. It is interesting but I would not come here specifically to see it.
Panikovskiy is one of a colorful person ever shown in the Soviet literature. He is the hero of the street where this monument is erased. He also memorises the whole story written by Ilf and Petrov.
