I liked this museum - it does not show only military history or Romania but also political history. It is worth visiting on any day. but it would need several improvements: - more English signs and description of articles in exhibitions - audio guide in various languages to walk visitors through exhibitions and to point at interesting artefacts - more... 更多
While most sections of the National History Museum are closed, this is the best place to learn about Romania's history. We visited several times, now under the occasion of Museum Night. Only part was available, still a great tematic walk from thousands of Years ago to year 1000. There has been restoration work which puts în a great light the... 更多
If you want to see lots of tanks, canons and rockets this is the place to be! The condition of the artillery is a bit deteriorated but that adds to the east block feel. Entrance very cheap, but a (relative) high fee if you want to take photos. Inside there is a nice handwaponery with a lot of different guns... 更多
Very interesting museum, lots of guns, uniforms and so on. Also lot of different tanks, howitzers, rockets, helicopter and so on. Only thing was that the aviation part was closed.
After quite a long walk to get there, the pleasant surprise was it is very cheap to go in. The fee for me a pensioner to go in was about 50p but to take photos was about £8.50 !!... 更多
It was an amazing time-travel experience, with so many detailed exhibits that you shouldn't miss. Highy recomended!! (The last floor - Temparary History- was under construction/renovation)
The museum is closed from October to December 31st 2016 according to a sign posted on the gate. There are a few vehicles visible, but otherwise nothing to see at present.
Raging we did not get to see the inside of this museum as it was closed when we rode past. we did however get to see a lot from the gates. Looked very interesting indeed.
