How many people can be committed to sport and recreation? Al main streets was closed for traffic and ready to accept thousands people with bikes and joggers. All crossroads are well marked and fenced with lot of police mans to made it more secure. One more experience in my lice.
Ciclovia offers a great way to see Bogota - every Sunday up to 2pm. I would recommend riding in both directions South/North just to experience the stunning difference between the North and South Bogota. A transverse route to the North/South axis is also available.
This is apparently as Bogota as it gets, it's been going on for a long long time. So, every Sunday and holiday they close down parts of the main avenues for cars and only let pedestrians and cyclists on it. You can go around the whole city on a bike and a ton of people are doing it, it's like... 更多
so many miles of road closed for ciclovia-impressive feat in a city of this size. one thing to remember, though, is that there are still parts where you have to stop and wait for turning cars-so you have to remain vigilant and cooperate with traffic-some bikers don't pay attention to this and it's annoying.
Amongst the chaos of traffic, a ride in the ciclovias let's you have a feel of the city without hours spent in traffic. Almost 300 km of exclusive bike lines are at your disposal. Without a doubt this is the best thing in this city, although sadly it is not used as much by locals as it should.
Such a fun event in which to join Colombians as they get out for exercise/ social interactions.Lots of stop possibilities along the 127 k route and great people watching.Everyone is out for a good time.Very positive vibes
If the weather is cooperating, this is a nice way to wander through Bogotá. I like to walk or bike down the Séptima from my apartment in Chapinero to the Sunday flea market Mercado de las Pulgas in the center - you could also follow the same route and end up near many of Bogotá's museums, including Museo del Oro... 更多
The roads were filled with cyclists, skateboarders, walkers, runners and families. It was a wonderful experience. I was told that there are 165km of roads shut down to traffic each Sunday. That is impressive.
