We visited here with another couple and thoroughly enjoyed our time. We took about 2 1/2 hours to view the home and museum and chapel/burial. There were very few visitors on the day we came so had plenty of time to sit and view videos, read the exhibits, tour the home etc. What an example General Eisenhower was both in... 更多
This site offers the graves, family home, museum and Library. I arrived to the visitor center were I was able to purchase the ticket, get my tour ticket of the home(takes 15 mins). I have been here, several times. It's a nice drive on a clear day. It's an exciting place to see. The memorial spot is beautiful. I go, every 3-4 yrs. It's about time, again. Kids enjoy it, but, adults can 'remember'. It's good for everyone. Abilene is a nice town, in itself.

House tour was ok, can only see first floor and can't even see all the rooms---kitchen can only be sort of seen with a mirror... 更多

We stopped by the museum on our way to Colorado. It was a great chance to stop and stretch our legs. Turned out it was much better than we imagined. Learned a lot about history.

From there, I purchased my ticket for the tour the boyhood home. I went to the auditorium for the 20 min. movie. After the movie, I went to the boyhood... 更多
