Only stopped here as part of a group tour (as a bit of a bonus) but it was the most fantastic hour and a half. Wonderful to get so close to chameleon, geckos, snakes, frogs, etc, to be able to observe them in such detail and handle some of them too. Great guide.
I brought a group of American students here in June 2016. We began with a hike up to the feeding are of the lemurs. The students loved holding out banana pieces for the lemurs to come down and grab from your hands to eat. We also visited the houses for chameleons, which was very impressive. Students were able to take... 更多
We stopped at Madgascar Exotic on the way back to Antananarivo from Andasibe. I had very low expectations of it as I felt it was likely to be like a zoo, but I was pleasantly surprised at how much there was to see and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. We got to feed some beautiful Sifaka Lemurs and see them up... 更多
Chameleon are notoriously hard to spot in the wild, if you want an up close experience with these amazing creatures don't miss this place. It's only a tiny little place and appears a bit run down at first but.... it has a fabulous collection of these weird and wonderful creatures and they are truly spectacular. You are guided around the... 更多
This place has a shady history, once being the site for mass breeding and export of animals for the pet and insect trade. These days, it is a run-down shadow of it's former self, the buildings now being very very tired and in need of demolition and replacement, however... The visit to the chameleons and other reptiles was an out... 更多
The place is must see attraction in Madagascar. The only reserve where you can encounter so many kinds of chameleons, frogs, tendrics, etc.In our later travel we have never get chance to see them in one place in such variety. travel guide: lova emadisson <email@example.com .highly recommended.
This stop off was planned for us by our tour guide on our trip from Tana to Andasibe. We were a little sceptical about it as it is just a zoo really - but our guide was very good and spoke very good English, which he told us he learned purely by being a guide as it is not taught... 更多
We normally don't like to see animals that are not in the wild. After an 18 day tour of Madagascar and not having seen very many reptiles or chameleons we decided to visit this place on our way to Andasibe. The place does not look in great condition and it is not very big. Our guide appeared to know something... 更多
Didn't quite know what to expect before we arrived, but once there I was amazed at the excellent local guiding, superb enclosures for the unique creatures they showcase & the lovely grounds. From parsons chameleon to the tomato frog, they have it all, each in spacious, clean enclosures that really impressed me. This is a must if you are travelling... 更多
