One of the more interesting part in touring Fez. Wandered through the narrow alleys were Jews lived for many generations. Visited Ibn Danan synagogue dating from the 17th century, and one of many existed in the past. The moving part was to visit the well...更多
The Mellah has everything- you can see the Jewish style buildings both before and after restoration. The spice market is amazing, and the cemetery interesting (especially if you have a guide with great stories and explanations).

Having seen the Mellah and the synagoge, we can but appreciate the efforts made to preserve the Jewish history of Fes. The synagoge is well preserved, and the conservator is willing to give the needed information.
It is hard to find!! we found this guy call Abdulla with green eyes!! he showed all the neighborhood. It was like a 2 hours tour and it cost 12 us!! I will highly recommend that you look for him and everything is hard to...更多
