Wonderful beach just 30 minutes from Kona. The road down to the beach is made of pot holes so make sure that your car can handle it. A SUV or Jeep is recommended.

The beach is pretty deserted. We were trying to get to Makalawana beach, but the road was closed so we decided to settle with this rather than hike our beach equipment further. We definitely enjoyed our day at the beach, as well as the turtles...更多
Recently spent an afternoon at this beach after returning from Makalawana beach. We actually enjoyed this one much better! Plenty of shade, not crowded, beautiful water and scenery. Definitely worth the bumpy ride and short walk to get there. Check it out!
