Very pretty location, scenic and relaxing. This would be a good place to stop for a picnic lunch, a dip in the water or just to stretch your legs as we did.
Belize is not a country with spectacular waterfalls (if you are looking for them). Driving through Mountain Pine Ridge in itself is an adventure and you will need good clearance and patience. 1000' falls is definitely Not worth the drive and effort because you can't...更多
While the falls are actually about 1,600 feet in height, you can only see about 2/3 of them from the vantage point which is above the falls and quite distant. It was disappointing to be unable to see their full length as is shown in...更多
These falls are amazing and the man that lives next to them was so friendly and the area was beautiful. We packed a lunch and ate, waiting 30 minutes and the fog disappeared. It was a perfect way to spend our day!
Went camping (10 $ PP) here a few weeks ago, the weather was amazing, cool and windy. This is a welcome change from the usual sweltering heat everywhere else. The grounds are basic but adequate and who won't enjoy camping next to a beautiful waterfall!
