We visited while we were in town for a couple of days and it was marvelous! Very clean, serene, well kept land with so many heathy, happy horses to see, feed and learn about. It's only a bag of carrots to get in! Which you then feed to the horses. I loved how each pasture had a sign with the... 更多

Nice place to spend the afternoon. Bring carrots for the horses. They love to eat them! Be sure to bring a hat and glasses if you are going on a hot day!
My Mom Nephew and I spent about 2.5 hours here yesterday. We brought 10lbs carrots, 1 bag of apples and 6 bananas and left empty handed. We saw and fed a majority of the horses. We will definitly go back. I'm only sorry that I'm 3 hours away, otherwise I would try to volunteer.
The owners and workers who provide for elderly, needy horses are heroes. Taking care of these animals requires so much compassion and hard work every day. It was bitterly cold and very windy when we visited so we only could stay a short time. Except for one eager eater, most of the horses we saw near the entrance weren't really... 更多

This is so worth a visit if you love horses, it was great to see so many horses so well looked after. We will remember next time to bring more carrots as we spent several hours walking around the farm feeding the horses. They take such good care of all of these horses we will certainly be back.
We took my niece and nephew on Saturday to feed the horses. We were very happy that we took LOTS of carrots. It's a nice place for a stroll, the horses are very friendly, and the kids were comfortable feeding them.
