The town was nice but way too packed, guess summer is not the best time to visit... The forts and bunkers had historic interest and free to enter. I just couldn't cope with the thousands of tourists there, it was too much.
We took the 11 o'clock ferry from Sopot pier and arrived in Hel at 12:15 after a crossing on a very calm Baltic. The town is fantastic with many small shops for souvenirs, bars and restaurants. We followed the trail through the forest to the other side of Hel which has a long golden beach and is stunning. The sun... 更多
We spent a week in Hel, Poland, located at the far north of Poland into the Baltic Sea. It was busy with lots of cars on such a small peninsular, get the time wrong you will suffer many hours in the traffic. We camped on the furthest possible point, Hel Camp, busy but clean and well resourced. Hel centre was... 更多
A friend recommended Hel as a half-day trip during our vacation in Sopot. We're happy we took his advice on "going to Hel and back". Great town for people watching, restaurants and taking in the natural beauty. A haven for kite boarders and wind surfers. I've never seen so many in one place!
Beach in Hel is not the best I have seen, sand is not as white and water is not as clear as for example in Sopot, but it is definitely worth to visit. In combination with walking from downtown through the forest it was a nice experience and a chance to see another face of Baltic nature.
Visited the town by a 50 minute train journey from Puck which gave us a chance to see the scenery from an elevated position. On arrival we walked through the well signposted woods to the very sandy big beach and returned to town on a buggy that was advertising trips to WW2 installations as Hel had a prominent military history. The town... 更多
We went by a tour boat from Gdynia to Hel and enjoyed the ride and Hel itself. Despite the heavy rain we had fun and walked through little town with many Interesting sites. Visiting fokarium and watching seals being fed was the highlight of our trip. Great place and worth seeing it. You can also rent bikes and ride on... 更多
A small, cosy holiday resort at the end of Poland. Beautiful beaches. Also a unique occasion for the fans of the WWII, as lots of old ruins from that time still to discover.
Hel is a nice peninsula, however, an access is horrible. If you wish to stay for at least one hour in a traffic jam, Hel is a right place during august. Besides traffic jam, it is difficult to find a parking place - parking lots are full. Train or bike are much better choices.
beautiful place, nice clean beach and is home to the famous - Seal Sanctuary in Hel (Fokarium w Helu) which is a public aquarium. Entry is 5zl or 1 Euro, the money goes towards preservation and welfare of the resident seals that live here. Very nice to see cute seals in the aquarium. Can see that they are well taken... 更多
