I always wanted to go there! Had this opportunity and didn't think twice. Everything was great since the time we got there. Guide tourists well-prepared, we learned a lot. I went to some caves called Ouro Grosso and Alambari and they are fantastic! Our guide (Branco Lima) was the best and helped us with the directions and adventures. I overcame my limits and had one of the best days in my life.

This is one of my favorite places on earth! The park has lots of options for caves and waterfalls, different types and levels of trekking in the middle of the jungle, lot of outdoor activities and amazing people! PETAR is like a huge complex of caves, and there is guidance to all of them. Well, not alllll of them, but most of the caves you can visit is astonishing tall rooms, with beautiful waterfalls and lot's of adventure. I'm glad I went to visit it.
This national park is located south of the state of Sao Paulo. It took us about 6 hours by car (around 300 km) using a mix of crowded highways and local roads not in the best conditions.
