Popped in for the first since this has opened in town. The Museum looks fantastic. Small but perfectly formed and well worth a visit.

We spent more time than we had intended here, as the Museum has a fascinating collection of artefacts and historical information. The building itself is beautifully maintained and a delight to visit.
A good place to learn a bit of history of Wanganui - European settlement. It was interesting. The museum has a good gift shop. Entry is free. An enjoyable interlude !
This is a great place to take the kids for a couple hours during the school holidays. There are activities and a scavenger hunt the kids can do.
