This is another nice open space in the middle of Christchurch. I believe it is named for Thomas Cramner who as the Archbishop of Canterbury helped arrange King Henry VIII's divorce from Katherine of Aragon.
it is another of the numerous green areas in the centre of the city, where one can relax. It was a site to remember during the February 2011 when numerous office workers sought out an area to feel safe and crowded into this square.
Lovely lawn setting close to town and the courts. Ideal place to enjoy your takeaways. Usually there is parking, even for camper vans, along the western side. Public toilets a short drive away in the Botanical Gardens behind Christs College.
