We went a bit earlier in the day so it was understandably quiet however it was a lot of fun and some interesting sculptures to be seen. Cocktails weren't great but they weren't bad either. Slightly overpriced but a lot of fun. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves
Not worth the effort or price at all!! As a 21yr old I was unable to take my 17yr old brother in. I was also unable to use my government issued I.d. Only a passport was accepted. There are better ice houses to go without...更多
Traveled with work, visited Freddy's Ice House. You pay, they give you all the gear you need to stay warm, I believe we had a set amount of time we were allowed to stay inside.

It is situated at the Quay street which was quite close to our hotel, just walking distance. They provide you with a jacket and a pair of gloves before entering the ice house and serve you a drink of your choice inside.The staff is helpful.They...更多
It's quite funny and different going from one weather extreme to another. Staff was friendly and helpful. The price. ..well a bit steep, but then it's a unique experience and we swallowed it, as you are not "every day" in Auckland.
