So beautiful- breathtaking both early morning and special if you get to watch the staircase to the moon event.However, be sure to wear insect repellant especially at dusk or you will get eaten alive!!

I initially dismissed Roebuck Bay as an area to stay in Broome, opting for Cable Beach area instead. However, when I saw how breathtakingly beautiful the bay was and how impossibly blue the water is - I regretted my decision. More shorebirds stop off here on their migration than anywhere else in Australia so it's a great spot to see them and if you combine with the Broome Bird Observatory then you can hire a guide and learn a lot.
Great beach for photography, watching the sunset, fossicking amongst the rocks, having a quick dip in the water, fishing, walking, sun bathing or just sightseeing.
A beautiful bay. Very scenic and picturesque. The sunrises over the water here. On nights with a full moon the ripples on the bay create the famous stairway to the moon.
