Most of the streets in the downtown CBD are either named after a female or male. The female streets run East and West and the male run North and South. Ann Street didn't stand out as anything more special then the others.
Someone told us to head to Ann Street, so we did on our first day, starting at the Experience Brisbane hop-on-hop-off bus stop. The trip was enhanced the second day when we walked further to James Street, which was lovely if you like the trendy boutique shopping and coffee thing.
