This is a fascinating museum for everybody who's interested in history, human rights and distress of a dissident in former USSR. Sakharov was a great man who played a big part in collapse of communism. There is a lot of information in English in museum...更多

The museum is the actual apartment which Sakharov lived during his time in exile in Gorky, located on the first floor of a regular apartment building....更多
A potentially fascinating place. Made the journey only to discover that it was closed that day. In our defence, we had emailed ahead, hadn't received a reply but decided to risk it anyway. Moral of the story, check before you trek.
