It's a little museum but it has a lot of information to share! The displays are all nice and well maintained. They do have a public restroom and also a gift shop! There is a little hiking trail for the kids and also a scenic...更多
Mark Twain Birthplace State Historic Site is worth spending the day. The museum is interesting with many artifacts from Samuel Clemens life. The film is short but comprehensive and sets the tone for a rewarding experience. The staff goes above and beyond to answer questions....更多
If you are on a Mark Twain pilgrimage you have to come here. There's not as much to see as in Hannibal, but it presents an important part of the story about Samuel Clemens and his rise to fame. Twain's birth home is preserved inside...更多
Small museum about Mark Twain, which includes his birth home (which has been moved to its current location). Museum had some interesting artifacts. Site of where home was located originally is marked with a plaque on a stand, so it is easy to find.
After touring Hanibal we decided to detour to see Florida Missourri to see Mark Twain actual birth place. Its quite a distance away and there is little to see. Even the location where the cottage was is questionable. Overall it's not worth the drive.

A long ways away from anywhere... Worth a detour only if you have time and patience to get there. Even though the house is technically the original birth house, its current setting underneath a curved dome is out of place and odd, like you're looking...更多
We're doing a Twain weekend. We may as well stop by. Glad we did. It's Free. I like Free, which makes it more fun! I'm glad time and money had been taken in preserving this and the building that houses his birthplace is interesting mid...更多
We stopped here on our way from Branson to Hannibal and began a day devoted to Mark Twain. This was more than I'd expected. The cabin in which Twain was born (rented by his parents) was moved to this location and is inside the museum...更多
