What a let down the prices have increased without any discernible improvement in anything else Tired fairy doors with a few teddy bears but very poor value for money You're not going to make this work with attractions of this quality Add to that a gift shop and plant sales high prices and you've a recipe for eventual closure!!!
Very little to do and the the £7pp entrance fee is very steep. The blue pool is quite peaceful, but it's hardly a natural beauty spot considering it's an old clay pit which has been filled in. We're unlikely to be back unless they scrap the entrance fee.
We went here on the fly with no research perhaps we should have done before driving down the lane but when we got there do I really want to pay £21 as a family to see a blue pond?? Maybe not. I'm perhaps not doing this place justice as the entry price just seemed steep.
We stopped here on a whim and was extremely surprised by just how beautiful it was. A walk round the lake reminded us of being in Canada, extremely peaceful and beautiful scenery. The kids play areas were great as well. Definitely worth a visit.
A striking woodland feature in a really nice setting. It takes around 30 minutes to an hour to walk around at a slow pace. Plenty of opportunities to sit, watch the pool, wildlife and have a picnic. No cafe open on the day and £5.00 each is fair to keep the place running
Wow, if you want a bit of peace and quiet in this noisy modern world, switch your phone OFF and take a walk all the way round The Blue Pool. Your soul will become as calm as the water and if you stop talking the birds will do it for you - and then there's the tea room - enjoy... 更多
This is an absolutely stunning part of the world! Totally beautiful. Myself and my fiancé went for a summers walk enjoying the views, lots of people around, adults, children, dogs... it was still an amazing visit. I can't wait for summer again so we can have another visit. Highly recommended going, the trails are helpful and you can choose the... 更多
The blue pool is so named for minerals that reflect an azure, turquoise or green colour depending on the light. It's part of a now defunct estate and can be accessed directly as an attraction. There's a shop and large restaurant on site, and the shop contains the 'Wareham Bears', a huge collection of dioramas of small teddies in Victorian... 更多
The Blue Pool is a natural phenomenon in Dorset. There is a very good tea shop selling excellent quality produce. I particularly liked it because it was so peaceful and calm. The staff were kind too and sympathetic
