Love going for a walk in the roe country park. Lovely waterfalls which are class. There are some steps so may not be suitable for everyone. You could spend the whole day looking about and then call into Ritters tearoom in the visitor centre which is also worth a visit. You could not describe the scenery in roe country park.... 更多
Spent Easter Tuesday at the park, really relaxed spot. Had a lovely picnic and leisurely walk around the park. Lots of space for kids to play safely. Toilets were very clean when we were there
Went here for first time and was pleasantly surprised. It's a lovely walk with paths leading across the park and along river. Benches carved from tree trunks for a rest and information boards throughout informing of areas history. Very serene and peaceful would go back again.

I live on the edge of the country park and it really is spectacular in all seasons. People tend not to walk up past the dolphin bridge, but up here is the beautiful Carrick church perched on a rock over the river. sadly the coffee shop is closed at present.
love this place. walks are excellent for the dogs (walkers must learn to clean up after the dogs) love the paths through to carrick walks from the hotel . the forest walk is the prettiest and the river after a good rain fall makes the river more livelier!!!
