The bus trip from Iguazu is pretty long (about 4 hours), but the tour guide made up for it. Pretty funny tour guides and lots of insight on the mines and how they are acquired. Good thing to do if nothing else is available.
It was very interesting. We went to the inside of the mines and there were amethyst chunks on the walls that we could touch. There was also a gift shop. I bought an amethyst bracelet for 18 pesos. There was also other stones too though. There was also many different objects. It was awesome!!! If you think you might go... 更多

Interesting tour of a gemstone mine. Guide did an excellent job explaining the process and the need for the miners to carefully extract the entire gem capsule for maximum value. At the end of the tour there was an opportunity to jewelry made from the stones and purchase items at a good price compared to what we saw elsewhere.
First, we took a bus into Wanda. The bus stop wasn't really clear, so we ended up stopping past the... 更多
