The Chapel is closed to the public, but the views to Calvi in the north to the snow capped mountains in the east and the cape with the Calvi lighthouse to the west is spectacular. In the drive up to the chapel you pass some beautiful rocks sculptured by weather. Not to miss !!!
Walking around this park and going down to the beach on the other side of the hill is a perfect stroll. If you want to make your miles walk to the light house.
You can come to the Chapelle de Norte Dame de la Siera by car or you can choose a nice hike from Calvi. I did both. The hike takes about 40 minutes up and you can enjoy the changing lanscape and the views. Not really difficult and the path is clear. Once you are at the top you can really... 更多
You can come to the Chapelle by car but I recommend a nice hike from Calvi. it is nor difficult and the path is clearly marked. On the way you admire the nature and the views. The Chapelle Notre Dam de la Sierra is also nice, unfortunately it was closed when we were there twice.
Once Google Maps sorted itself out we had a pleasant drive from Calvi out here. Saw an amazing number of red kites on the way up and stunning views of Calvi bay once up there. A worthwhile short detour by car or even walk from Calvi (though choose your departure side of Calvi with care if walking.
Wonderful spectacular view towards Calvi and to the sea. Just a few cars when you could expect busloads of tourist. No parking fee. No commercial offerings like soda’s, postcards etc etc Highly recommended.
There is definitely the best view over Calvi and the nearby area from here. The road is safe and picturesque. A large parking is available. What I haven't noticed is a WC.
We walked up to this site via the trail. It is a good 45 minute climb with great views all along not only on the bay but into some very beautiful mansions. The vegetation is also quite interesting. We took the road to get back to Calvi but this is a very long walk.
