The mosaic floors in the Villa are very well restaurated and give a glimpse of the grandour that once must have prevailed here. It's not very large but on the other hand one of the better Villas I've seen.
You're going to be impressed. While Rome was noted for how well its builders dealt with fresh water and sewage for everyone, the elite had the best facilities and most refined practices at home. Sensible things like building so that rainwater was caught and saved influenced the overall design of homes.
