This well-laid-out museum reflects Hartlepool's maritime history, with ships, exhibitions and a good cafe! The staff are well-informed and access is easy. There is a large carpark and the museum is well-signed from the dual carriageway.
Spent a good couple of hours here, found it really interesting and is very well layed out with a good few interactive things to move, smell etc then there's the boat Wingfield Castle moored outside you can explore and its all for free.
