We always walk through the church yard when visiting the Quay. The building itself is stunning, the gardens well maintained, it is always a pleasure to visit.
Great architecture. Friendly people to help out with any inquiries. Has a nice little shop with interesting bits and bobs for sale. All round good experience.
We visited this church on a lovely July day. We walked around the gardens and then entered the Church. Such a lot of history. Well worth a visit. We also bought some gifts from the shop and had tea and scones in the tearoom
I enjoyed walking around the largest parish church in England. It has great architecture, pretty stained glass windows and the churchyard is pleasant to walk through on a warm and sunny day. Christchurch Priory has a fascinating history and the legend of the "mysterious beam"...更多
We visited here on the advice of Bill Bryson. The greatest joy was the choir of children rehearsing for a performance. A massive church - more like a cathedral really with all the usual holy stuff. Good if you like churches.
