when its raining outside and the grandkids are driving you nuts get them out spend a fascinating couple of hours in the museum lots of interactive things,they loved it and my nerves are restored also we all learnt a lot

We went here with our Grandchildren & really enjoyed it! Lots of stuffed animals & birds. War time displays were good & very interesting. A good visit.
its a good museum and free to get in plus you are greeted with a huge mammoth there is also an area where it is showing you the outfits and sorts of the 1st and 2nd world war very interesting also a gift shop

Don't be put off by the website and frontage. Even though it's a fabulous old building it can appear run down. Not at all inside is a Victorian wonderland to another era. The layout might not have change but the quality of the exhibits is...更多
