Great ormes lesser known brother nice walk to the top and fantastic views with the added joy Of watching seals in the bay below seems a lot cleaner and tidier than when we last visited Some years ago
Other reviews say things like 'not to be missed' etc and I whole heartily agree with them. It's the last day of our holiday and we are a bit walked out but I'm so glad we did this one. Nesting cormorants & fulmars, bird song filling the air, spectacular views and of course the seals. Five I. The beach and... 更多
We walked from Llandudno to Penryn Bay & came across a disabled access entrance to The Little Orme. What a find! Absolutely stunning views & scenery on par with The (big) Orme in Llandudno. There is a tarmac path all along for wheelchair users or a natural uneven path, whatever your preference. We tried to follow the Wales Coast Path... 更多
We stayed at the Premier Inn 200 yards down the road, where there is also a Brewers Fayre (with free parking). This is a North Wales Wildlife trust reserve called Rhiwledyn. On passing through the entrance gate take the right-hand path and go up a steep path which gets a bit better after the initial part. Carry on to the... 更多
I visited this site when I did a walk to Rhos on Sea from Llandudno. The view from tjhe top is spectacular. On part of it is the North Coast path. Thbere is a lack of direction signs for thsi and it is quite easy to lose your way along it.
The Calveley Kitchen only opened last week and was previously Calveley Arms I visited last Saturday with 5 friends and WE WILL DEFINITELY BE RETURNING We were welcomed on arrival by a Michael who made us feel special straight away The decor is lovely, warm and welcoming and the chairs are sooooo comfy we all comented on them The menu... 更多
For such a prominently placed, small and fairly low hill the Little Orme isn't the easiest of places to access. So much so that many people walk around the lower levels and unfortunately miss the fantastic views from the top/trig point. For those who are more nimble & sure-footed the rewards are considerable. The compact terrain and the multitude of... 更多
We walked from the house we were staying in in Rhos (Meadway House) to the top of the Little Orme. It would have been about half an hour if not for detours onto the beach, climbing a steep gully, looking at the old quarrying machinery and World War II artifacts, taking photos of each other and of the views and... 更多
