This is an excellent museum that displays the excavated Roman artifacts and mosaics. We had the museum mostly to ourselves. Admission is free if you purchase the Heritage Malta pass. Easy and quick walk from Mdina.
Superb mosaics especially 'The Drinking Doves'. Some rare statues including my favourite, 'Claudius' from 1st century A.D.

A surprising site in Mdina, just outside the citadel walls. A good museum, partially built over 2-3 mosaics discovered (and preserved) in-situ. Well laid out displays, and descriptions. Plus, outside a good view of ruins, some in situ, but most not. Well worth an hour...更多
This little museum is well worth a visit if travelling to Mdina or Rabat. The exhibition and displays are really well detailed and provide excellent insight into the villa and how it's occupants would have lived in the first century. The 6 euro entrance fee...更多
