Well we do have better and more interesting museums in Stockholms. The food is okay but it feels like one is visiting the primary school restaurant...
This museum is quite fascinating but quite difficult for those who do not read Swedish. It appears to be a museum in progress, having staff who are enthusiastic about their subject matter. However, the museum appears to have been started in a wonderful new facility but ran out of money to be completed properly. The museum if full of items... 更多
A quaint, underrated museum that is interesting and not too big. The current Japan temporary exhibit was well done but a bit too much stuff that wasn't related. Was meant to be mainly about cosplay and indigo subcultures but had a few other random Japanese things thrown in. The link with Swedish cosplayers was a good addition. Other smaller exhibitions... 更多
One of the forgotten museums in Stockholm, or at least little talked about. It's about world cultures, ethnography. Currently there are two temporary exhibitions, Cos-play and Indigo. Both are quite small unfortunately, but gives a brief glimpse of the humans playing cos and the history of denim and the color indigo. The Museum of Ethnography is located rather inaccessible, at... 更多
I have been there in a different kind of visit, with the "EventGuide" Company, participating in a team building activity. Of course this was not a visit to the museum, but with what I saw from this activity, I loved the rooms where we were doing activities, so I want to go back and visit room by room. The museum... 更多
This museum houses an impressive collection of artifacts related to indigenous cultures from all over the world. The museum does a great job of showing the different cultures in a positive light without much colonial bias. The museum also has an exhibit on its own collections, showing the difficulty in curating a large collection with so many different classes of... 更多
Review and learn about different ethnic peoples around the world. Even if a lot of the info is in Swedish, there is enough in English to read and understand. My son and I don`t know Swedish, but we had a great visit. The restaurant is very good too!
After a little walk from Stockholm I got to the museum. It is situated at Museiparken, Djurgården. There are other five museums in total at the park (Tekniska museet, Sjöhistoriska museet, Etnografiska museet, Polismuseet, Riksidrottsmuseet). The Etnografiska Museet is my favorite of the five and one of my favorites at Stockholm. It is a must visit. Althought if you have... 更多
Some very interesting slices of culture around the world. However, it's mostly in Swedish with little booklets of English translation, away from the exhibits. Also, not terribly well-organized. As a student of culture and anthropology, I was a bit disappointed. Perhaps the most fascinating piece is the workshop where you can pay just 50skr (~$5) for supplies and make some... 更多
