The castle is very large, and probably expensive and difficult in upkeep. But nice to look at from the outside and the gardens are nice to wander about it. Located between two lakes. There is a restaurant and a hotel.
The herb garden is well worth a look.
Really nice surroundings and historical buildings and the wall decor gives you that nice "castle" feeling - however a little "sterile" and not so warm, welcome and cosy.
Food was a brunch buffet that was good, but perhaps not exceptional. However, ingredients were local - slow cooked side of smoked pork rather than just industrial bacon etc. etc. so no...
