You cannot climb this tower but it tells the tale of boundaries defended. It is now part of the castle district. If you want to walk up this type of tower look to the elephant tower ... but don't be susceptible to vertigo.
Constructed in 1305 (dating from the rule of Pisa) of white limestone from Bonaria Hill, this 36-meter tall medieval tower was designed by the same Sardinian architect who designed the Elephant Tower as part of the defensive system of Cagliari.
