This beautiful church is located a short distance up a hill from the center of Portofino. The interior is decorated with colorful paintings and statues.
This quiet, little church sits high on an opposite hill across the harbor from the Church of St. George. It is another church frequented by the local fishermen and their families for centuries. There is beautiful modern bronze work on the entrance doors and main altar. Outside courtyard has a stunning design in smooth stones.
Lovely place to visit, this is truly an amazing place. so many things to see and enjoy, I recommend that you visit in the spring or autumn as the weather is great here for travelling.
This magnificent church with its typical striped facade has an amazing interior. The altars are adorned with gold, the ceiling is painted like the Sistine chapel, the sculptures remind me of St Peter's in Rome. There is a beautiful bell tower too and the bell can be heard ringing all over Portofino. It's a steep climb but worth it!
Truely a must for anyone to visit during your stay- breathtaking views from the church. The paintings, and mosaics are really lovely and the whole place was calming and it is worth sitting and taking it all in

Lovely church, especially the stained glass windows. Nice prospect/view over to harbor to the Chiesa di San Giorgio. If pressed for time, skip it though and head to the San Giorgio - if for the view alone.
