Housed in an impressive Palazzo, this Museum currently has a temporary exhibition of a mid XIXth century napolitan painter. On the second floor, the permanent collection is small but includes a Caravaggio.
If you walk along the very central Via Roma (Toledo), do stop and visit this small and beautiful museum. Beyond the Caravaggio, it contains some extraordinary paintings and sculptures in a magnificent setting (the building itself). The Museum is private and very well maintained, so you will be surprised on how clean it is, well displayed art is and how... 更多

Caravaggio painting was on loan to a museum in Madrid. Supposed to be returning the next week. We went primarily for the Caravaggio so we were somewhat disappointed. In a city where you can visit Pompei, Herculanum or the very nice Museum of Capodimonte, don't waste your time with this pseudo-gallery. The place is a very nice old palazzo but the paintings collection is extremely small and very poor...Painters from the 18th century with just one painting by Caravaggio wich was not even on display when I went.... 更多
I have an true passion for the painter Caravaggio and in Palazzo Zevallos Stigliano it is possible to admire one of his precious mastepieces, discovered in recent times. Also the location is very well maintained, this ancient building is wonderful and very nice to visit. Don't loose the possibility to admire "Sala stanza degli stucchi", the painted ceilings with "Apoteosi... 更多
This is a compact private collection, focused on 17th- and 18th-century painting. The thematic coherence of the collection and of its setting makes it an accessible and energizing visit. Some gorgeous religious scenes, of course, but also lots of genre paintings, painted views of Naples, and portraits.
Very nice museum with lovely collection in a splendid palace. For the lovers of Caravaggio the painting is at this moment in Madrid on loan for an exposition.Still worth a visit
