We were on a self guided walking tour and had marked this place due to mention of one of the oldest place of worship. You should not just visit the place when a mass has started. You can walk around but be respectful. A good quick visit.

You don't need to be a believer to visit this church. Anyone that enjoys art and architecture should visit this church. Next to the Chocolateria San Gines, you should not nave any excuse not to visit this church.
When my wife and I walked on Calle Arenal, we stopped at this church and took a look again, since we visit it about every 6 months. The church is full of good art, all of the paintings having been restored. The only complaint I have is that they do not allow any photography at all.
