So much here,contemporary Art, a Living Room bar, Churches,super falafels for veggies even. Quite a young ambience but very friendly place.
It's the Neumarkt. And it's very new, for obvious reasons. The Stadtmuseum has pictures of the market prior to WWII, and it's almost a shame to see what it is now compared to what it was. Still, there's a charm to the new version, but it's decidedly antiseptic.
This is the central square of the old town of Dresden. Almost all of the buildings here are newly built, and you can that they really tried to to rebuild the square after how it looked before the war. Neumarkt is an attractive, historic public square where you will find interesting attractions, places to eat and hotels. This square is a centrally located and a place you will most likely pass through during visits to Dresden. We visited the Neumarkt during the Christmas Market season. It was filled with vendors and food. We visited this location multiple times as it was close to the other Markets and a good break from the crowds. Was truly a magical and great Christmas experience.
Strizelmarkt at Altmarkt is the famous Christmas Market in Dresden.
