It is my opinion if you are going to flog a tour about a band or a person there has to be interesting content. Peter our guide who was a nice enough guy (but who chain smoked through the 1.5 hrs tour) 'claim to fame' is that as a 12 year old he lived in an adjacent street to where... 更多
It was me and 3 of my friends on the tour only - Peter was very flexible and agreed to start a tour an hour later because it suited us better. He is very knowledgeable and informative - he grew up in the area + he is the fan of the group himself. He was very patient, adjusting the pace... 更多
There were 10 people on our tour - 6 German speaking and 4 English speaking. Our guide, Peter, who grew up in this area, communicated to both groups, however, if the group had been larger there may have been problems because he is a gentle person, softly spoken, and sometimes hard to hear. Additionally, the constant smoking makes you want... 更多
We were the only 2 people on the tour. The guide (Peter) was disappointed because 2 others didn't show up. We think the walk was o.k., maybe a bit expensive. The city of Hamburg clearly is not interested in its Beatles-history. It gives you an idea of how it must have been 50 years ago (smell included). If you want... 更多
Our tourguide is a friendly but tired old chap. He quickly mumbles facts about dates and places, in between there are long walks when nothing is said. He claims to have grown up in this area but gives us no personal reflections or stories, which would have made this tour so much more interesting. Spend your 20 € on Lewisohn's... 更多
I would not recommend this to any tourist as it was horrible to see the Beatles platz in the middle of the red light district with all of the inappropriate posters of shows as well as the homeless lying around the Beatles statues making it impossible to take photos of the tourist spot. There was also a very strong smell... 更多
This wasn't so much of a guided tour as a quick walk round the spots where the Beatles had been. Few stories were told. We would have done better walking it on our own.
