One of the better markets in the area. In addition to the fresh produce, try the cheese, olives, porchetta, homemade pastas and charcuterie. It is a festive time and easily maneuverable. A must visit in the area.
We traveled to St Remy on 28-09-16 only to find the market that day was moved to Arles due to the fair being in town, so we traveled to Arles 30 minutes away by car and attended the market there. Average at best. You will get a flare for the local culture and mix of french, north African and muslim... 更多
This open air market is half food vendors, half flea and craft market. Locals mix with visitors buying everything from the beautiful Provençal textiles and imported clothes to cheap electronics. And of course the food - beautiful fresh produce, fish, prepared paella, cooked sausages and of course, pastries. Great fun and a great place to find bargains.
Don't know what dates the market is scheduled to run (didn't seem to find it on trip Advisor), but when we went to find it on Wednesday, September, 28th, it was not there! We were so incredibly disappointed, as it had been reviewed all summer and even the week before. We had planned specifically for that day in Saint-Remy for... 更多
The market spreads out over the church square and along many streets of the old town. Offering both special and everyday items. Large variety of items for both locals and tourists. Some good deals, some not. It always helps to know your prices.
Bustling market which has just about everything you need from fresh fruit and vegetables ,cheese, ,fish, lhats, clothes and shopping bags. But get there early as parking is at a premium. We arrived at around 8.30 and were just ahead of the main influx of locals and tourists. Parking was 5.60 euros for 4 hours, which was fine as the market closes... 更多
This market has everything - it's large, it's in a beautiful location and it's got a huge variety of local foods and products as well as general random 'stuff' The market spreads out through much of the old town of St Remy in the streets and plaza'. I would suggest getting there at about 9am to avoid the crowds -... 更多
We visited the Saint-Remy market as a family. We went purposefully early for breakfast in the village and were probably back by the pool by 10am. The variety of food was stunning. We came away loaded with fruit, vegetables, cheese, pestos, sausage, bread. Being tourists, we also couldn't resist some olive soap. Plenty of non-food vendors as well. A great... 更多
