We went for the special exhibition on monstrous forms from nature, which was small but fascinating and with lots for children to explore and play with. We were equally taken with the permanent exhibition which crams the excitement of the natural world into a few big rooms. The specimens are bright and look new although many are more than a... 更多
We were a bit disappointed when we visited as they were short staffed and half the building was closed off. What we saw was an exhibition of stuffed animals which did little to educate or enlighten. To be honest I'd rather see a video of a European Otter in its natural habitat rather than stuffed. If these animals were extinct... 更多
I went there this week and it s a lovely museum but some lights are not working properly so you can't see clear what it's on display. You can't read properly some labels because the typo is horrible. Some windows are old so you can't see through without a wavy effect and some other windows specialy at the last floor... 更多
This was a fascinating museum with an impressive collection. We were virtually the only people there which was surprising given how good it was. The adjacent botanical garden was small but very well kept and peaceful.
Excellent educational fun for all the family. Kids simply love anything to do with explorers and there's lots to see, learn and get involved with here.

Adjacent to the small but delightful botanical gardens and housed in a wonderful townhouse, this museum is a treat.impeccable style and display for the various exhibits,we spent a lovely hour here with our thrilled 9 to 13 year olds.Do take time to sit in the Gardens afterwards and say to yourself.."there is a God..!"Beautiful
Was very surprised at how much I enjoyed the museum sort of went under protest but really found it fascinating. Some very rare animals and just loved the big hairy donkey. A lot of stair climbing covers four floors. Glad I paid the visit.
