Accidentally found this place near our hotel. I love great chocolate and I could NOT get enough of their truffles. I brought home 12 small boxes to give away to friends as well as a large box for myself... hahaha, but I found that I could only give away 8 and kept the 4 of my own gifts they're so... 更多
We have tried a lot of chocolate in Paris but we keep returning to Jean Charles Rochoux. We particularly like the little truffles but the Durango are also a firm favourite. great place to buy impressive gifts for your friends
I visited Paris with my wife and daughter and after reading great reviews about Jean Charles Rochoux decided to give it a try. I bought the chocolate truffles, coffee bar, chocolate hazelnut bar & the chocolate bar with caramelised almonds and also the chocolate hazelnut spread. All the chocolates and the spread were awesome! We were absolutely blown away by... 更多
The place was absolutely overflowing with the aroma of chocolate and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, often giving us samples and explaining the ingredients. The chocolate covered strawberries were to die for but unfortunately don't have a shelf life for more than 2 days, too short to bring back home :( the entire experience was wonderful though and... 更多
I've been heading here for years to buy chocolate treats for the folks back home (and a few for myself, of course). I decided on this small shop as my go-to place after tasting offerings at about 20 chocolatiers. Not only is the chocolate here rich and creamy with delectable fillings, but the staff strives to please. On my most... 更多
We visited Jean Charles Rochoux on March 1st. While this place is pretty pricey (we paid almost 5 euros for 4 very small pieces of chocolate), it was by far the best chocolate we have ever had. It was so creamy and just melted in your mouth. There were also a lot of cool chocolate carvings in the store and... 更多
I read about their homemade hazelnut chocolate spread online and decided to try it. It's absolutely amazing and worth every Euro! You can buy different flavors in jars to bring back home. The spread in the jars have a short shelf life (~2 months) but I think you'll finish them way before that time!
I spent far too much money on sweets and treats during my time in Paris but this place deserved my money. The array of delicious treats is meant to tempt you and believe me I was tempted. The man, I believe he was the actual owner was hilarious. Very welcoming, and very proud of his shop. The packaging alone is... 更多
The owner was there serving us and he was very friendly and helpful. He made great recommendations, including the delicious truffles and their hazelnut spread, and he even autographed the bags! The chocolate art that were on the shelves were also very intricate and rich in details, which is particularly surprising given these are designed to be eaten. Definitely worth... 更多
Trust me, the chocolate here is the best I have ever eaten. And the service I experienced was excellent! A little pricey, but hey, I would rather pay a little more than waste my calories on junk. You only live once; eat dessert first!
