We have ASDA at West Malling to thank for this unexpected treat as we picked up the National Trust Kent map from the store in passing! Stoneacre is hidden from view when you park in the field but is revealed when you stand at the gate in the beautiful 'formal' gardens at the front. A wonderful atmosphere in an authentically... 更多
This medieval farmhouse is maintained by a tenant on behalf of the National Trust and therefore it's only open on Saturdays. The property is to be found in the tiny Kent village of Otham which is reached along a very narrow single track country lane, so be prepared for hold ups. The car park is situated in a nearby meadow... 更多
Оld stylish house with amazing garden done with great passion. Good atmosphere, well conserving the history of the house. Calm and quiet, nice way to bright up your weekend
An interesting house with very well looked after gardens. The little tea room in the library is so quaint! The cakes are Amazing! Very yummy and extremely good value. A lovely visit.
Last minute addition to a day out. Gardens that will make you first, want to sit down on strategically placed benches to soak in the beautifully planted and maintained grounds, then wander and weave through stone steps and footpaths made to bring out your inquisitive side. The staff there are so genuinly interested in helping you understand the history of... 更多
An amazing Tudor House with a wonderful feel to it. Walk around each room and explore the gardens after. Enjoy a cup of tea and a slice of cake and absorb the relaxing magical feeling here. We have visited several times on a Saturday afternoon and found the guides friendly and knowledgeable.
This house is a real treasure hidden in the Kent countryside near Maidstone well worth a visit a nice little tea room as well with all home made goodies shame it's only open at the weekends.
A visit on the penultimate day of opening of the 2016 season saw us parking in the car park (a field) some 100 yards or so from Stoneacre. The approach is along a narrow country lane from the A20, so be prepared to slow down and pull in to a passing place if needs be. Crossing a ford, the approach... 更多

Staff very helpful and informative, especially with grandson as they took time to suggest were the answers for his sheet may be found without telling him so he felt very happy when he completed it. The restoration is very true to the period and... 更多
