I am not sure what we were expecting but, leek and potato soup, smoked salmon, chicken with mushroom sauce and vegetables, with apple pie and cream do not a Medieval Banquet make😡😡
However the entertainment was quite good.
This banquet was a lot of fun! They greeted us with a cup of mead and explained a little about the castle. We then went upstairs for the banquet where we sat at long tables.

This was an optional excursion on our bus tour. It starts with a complimentary glass of mead. Then you ascend narrow, curved steps of the castle to the room where you'll eat and enjoy entertainment.

We drove past and just had to have a look. With free parking and a cost of €16 for family of 2 adults 3 children this beautiful castle is set in breathe taking growns outside. With a large lake to look over.
