Visit here regularly. Amazing old building and the kids love the grounds. The staff are friendly, helpful and really know the history of the place. Love coming here on a sunny day as it's a peaceful location and the views from the palace are incredible. Went here with my young baby son and family and was told some interesting spooky stories of the castle by the staff when I bought a book - haunting castles of Scotland. He told us about the narrow corridor of the alter corner where he get lost during his routine area checkup before he has finish work of the day.... 更多
Neat stop with lovely views. We did get lost and took a few wrong turns before we got here but glad we followed thru and made it there. The site is closed for the season, so we were not able to access the indoor rooms during our recent visit. However, it was possible to walk all around and inside the ruins. It's a beautiful place - whether open or closed. A lovely place for a picnic and for photographs.
visited spynie palace and what a great old palace it is, very interesting place to visit and great views from the top of the building looking over to lossiemouth, well worth a visit
