A last minute trip to Glasgow, and we searched for " what's on" . A 4pm start to the Scottish Opera in the Theatre Royal suited just fine. We booked cheap tickets in the Balcony. £20.00 a ticket. Very good value. It's the first time we have attended since the improvements have been made. We loved the roof terrace .... 更多
Last night we saw La Boheme which had an amazing, high calibre cast and brought tears to my eyes. But I'm talking about the venue here. Don't be afraid of the cheap seats in the top balcony (4th floor). They are at a severe pitch and the view is excellent! It is close to the translation screen, which made it... 更多
La bohemian was amazing ,,, went to the bar at the interval which left us distgusted at the cost , a small bottle of budvar beer was £6 / Kirkland water which costs 15 pence in Costco was £2.50. Plastic glass no ice ,, has put me of the going to theatre royal glasgow completely ,, they should b ashamed!!!
We were at opening night of "la boheme", this was so amazing to hear and see this beautiful opera performed by the wonderful Scottish Opera. The orchestra were magnificent. This is our second visit to the Theatre Royal, last year we came to see the ballet Swan Lake, this was also amazing, a wonderful venue, we will be back.
I got tickets for my mum for the All or Nothings show and was the first show we have seen here as we usually go to the Kings Theatre. The first thing i noticed was that our seats were closer to the front than the kings however trying to push my mum down to our seats was quite difficult as... 更多
My wife and I booked an Ambassador box deal for the show All or Nothing about the Small Faces and had a fantastic time,From picking up our tickets at box office to be shown to our seats and receiving our drinks nothing was too much bother for staff. The seats were excellent, the theatre was beautiful and the show had the audience... 更多
A lovely theatre with friendly and helpful staff. I have only ever been in the stalls but always had a good view of the stage and the seats have been comfortable. As you go in it is very modern and clean but then the theatre is old and atmospheric. The only fault was the restaurant which is too small for... 更多
Great theatre with a fusion of the old and new, limited seats in the lounge areas and horrendously expensive drinks £5.90 for a bottle of beer but that said the staff were friendly and accommodating. The play was shocking I'm a huge fan of the Roy Grace series but this was just farcical. It's supposed to be a physiological thriller... 更多
No matter what you come to see here you will enjoy the lovely ornate auditorium. Seats are comfy with plenty of leg room ( we did in our row AA) The foyer is nice and bright and the cafe area is very modern. The staff are friendly and very helpful.
