Located inside Pollok Country Park, don't plan on using public transportation to get here as the house is easily a one mile walk from the nearest bus stop. Driving, especially on a nice sunny weekend day, is a bit stressful since parking is limited. You may have to wait for a space. The park is used by many for sport,... 更多
Pollock House is an amazing country house in the middle of Pollock country park. It is conveniently located not too far from the M77 but, access is difficult due to the single track roads in the country park. There is a good sized car park near the house once you do get there. The house is owned and maintained by... 更多
We visited on a National Trust Holiday although staff were brilliant and tried to help out as much as they could this property isnt advisable for people with bad mobility problems we appreciate that it is an old property but apart from that what i did see of the house was lovely
Stunning architecture. The gardens are superb. We were very impressed and highly recommend visiting. The downstairs tour was my favourite part of the visit. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us a wonderful insight into the working lives of house staff "downstairs".
We called in to break our journey heading south from the Highlands. What a treat. We found it all there: a bit of culture in a lovely property, with an interesting history, friendly people and a lovely cafe. It was really easy to find and park, and good access from the motorway. We particularly enjoyed the tour of the servants... 更多
Stopped to have coffees outside at the so called Edwardian kitchen only to discover that we had to go back to another room, order our drinks in paper cups and drink them at the table. What a ridiculous performance. Did not bother. This is a cafe NOT a take away joint. It is also meant to be a tourist attraction.... 更多

Visited on a beautiful sunny day. Really was worthwhile. The house was worth a visit in itself, but the lovely gardens really added to it. Restaurant was a wee bit pricey for what you got - but the food was good. Recommended and we'll certainly be going back!
Great house and surrounding to visit...maze garden in the backyard, horse stables and nearby river. Excellent for a quality family time. Highly recommend.
Lots to see and do here with a historically interesting grand house with beautiful interior and artefacts coupled with lovely gardens and parkland.Highlight was the "Downstairs tour" conducted by Linda. Very interesting particularly the gunroom. Helpful and informative volunteer guides elsewhere in the House. Excellent cafe offering good snacks.
