Found this church by chance,beautiful and peaceful,the art work and mosaics are stunning,from my observations it is well loved and looked after,the crucifixion outside is beautiful,
This beautiful Church is a must for a visit when in the City of Derry. Amazing stained glass windows, marble altars and much more. A great history attached to this Church.
Having heard of St Columba, and his Journey to Iona, I was interested to visit here, while sightseeing in the city. a very short distance from the city walls, so very easy to build into an afternoons sight seeing walk, worth a visit

I love visiting this Church, the alter is one of the most beautiful I have seen. Well worth a visit, such a sense of history and serenity - you will not be disappointed.
This church is one of the loveliest churches in Irreland. It is medium sized but the sense of history envelopes you as a soon as you walk inside. The paintings, mosaics and altars are all beautiful. I visited here on 9th June the feasr day...更多
One of the oldest religious sites in Derry. Beautiful church, as pretty as most cathedrals inside. Good exhibits about St Columba's founding of the city.
