One of the oldest church in the city. Its a must place to visit. Very cosy and warm inside.
The images painted on the church wall inside reminds me of story telling from my grandma. Brought my childhood memories back.

Having heard of St Columba, and his Journey to Iona, I was interested to visit here, while sightseeing in the city. a very short distance from the city walls, so very easy to build into an afternoons sight seeing walk, worth a visit
A church with beautiful interior and marble altars. Historic location , being the original site of St. Columba who went Iona and from his disciples Christianised Scotland and Northern England.the Columban settlement preceded Derry Walls by 100 years
This church is one of the loveliest churches in Irreland. It is medium sized but the sense of history envelopes you as a soon as you walk inside. The paintings, mosaics and altars are all beautiful.
