Coming up from Belfast the Foyle Bridge is the obvious way to access the roads towards Donegal without having to go over the Craigavon Bridge and through the city centre. A little care is needed to traverse the roundabouts leading to the bridge but this is not beyond the average careful motorist. The bridge is high, but not the highest... 更多
This bridge is very high thank god I wasn't driving as I hate heights ... but for someone who not mind the views are stunning ... this bridge is one off the main links into city ... but be warned if it's windy it's closed
Very difficult to access from the Culmore side. The roundabout/junction is too confusing trying to access the bridge. It's a bit too high and the accidents there had been make me very nervous of using it. Apart from anything else it's too far from the city centre. Craigavon Bridge is easier to get onto, feels safer, is quicker to cross... 更多
Fairly high bridge over the Foyle River with fantastic sights of all surrounding areas. Always found it the best way to get into Derry rather than the main Craigavon bridge, better views and quicker access. You can feel the power of the wind whilst driving and it does be closed on days with extreme wind.
An opposing piece of design and some outstanding views as you go to and fro and one of the main routes to the City
Dual carriageway and it closes everytime the wind gets too strong. It is expensive to grit and is too far from the city centre . Bit of a white elephant.
A very good experience with our guide as she gave us more vision to some local history.Do not go to close to dark as it may not be as good.
