In the upstairs we found a genuine traditional music jam session and downstairs traditional music with a modern twist. Both excellent. As well as helpful staff, friendly patrons, and charming musicians.

We had a blast at this very off the beaten track pub. Madden's was suggested to us by a local. The bartender, Barny, was so fun and quite the character. My daughter said he was the funnest person she met on our whole trip! Great...更多
This great little bar is hidden behind Castle Court Shopping Mall. You have to press a buzzer to gain entry, a reminder of Belfast's troubled history. Inside are more reminders of the politics of the city, with Republican posters, Irish language signage and Irish memorabilia....更多
Had a great time in this traditional Irish pub, the Guinness was absolutely the best tasting in Belfast and I was served by a very friendly & welcoming bartender called Ciara

If we hadn't previously read some 'Visit Belfast' reviews about the best pubs in Belfast we would have missed this gem, or, walked straight past it! From the outside you could pre judge and perhaps not enter but that would be a big mistake.
