Made a pilgrimage for the family collected mussels at this legendary spot but were 10 days into the close season- why didn't we find out first?
Had the cockles instead which were as nice as I've had anywhere.
Conwy is known for their mussels & crayfish. We were able to enjoy so me fresh tasters along the docks. A great find and a place to see if you have time. One could only imagine the hustle and bustle in its time.
The Conwy Mussel Museum is the place to go for seafood (£2.50 per pot of cooked mussels / cockles / prawns / etc) and we brought 4 pots to eat on the walls of the Quay.
