A fascinating little church (it really is very small) well worth seeing - I have visited several times but tend also visit Llantony Abbey which is a short distance further up the same valley complete with refreshments.
Having seen this on TV and with it being a short distance from my home I decided a visit was in order. I live in an area with lots of narrow roads but these were really tricky to manoeuvre, especially with so many high hedges....更多
Kilvert mentioned this Church in his book, how "Owl like",he was quite right it is so beautiful and peaceful from a different time. Sadly the village is in a terrible state needs a good tidy up as after traveling all the way to this village...更多
When I went there the church did not allow people inside. Albeit I went on a wet and windy day. There is a nice part with a cross and an old gate.
